We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our Emergency Department team. Location: Kannur Qualification: Hospital Administration or relevant course. Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Hospital/Healthcare preferred. Skills : Good Communication, empathy, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and visitors seeking information or assistance in the Emergency Department. Provide support and guidance to patients and families during their stay in the Emergency Department, addressing their concerns and ensuring their needs are met. Coordinate communication between healthcare providers, patients, and families to facilitate efficient and effective care delivery. Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, complaints, and feedback from patients, families, and the public. Collaborate with hospital staff, including physicians, nurses, and support personnel, to address patient and family needs and concerns. Maintain a welcoming and supportive environment in the Emergency Department waiting area, ensuring comfort and safety for patients and families. Coordinate with hospital administration and other departments to implement policies, procedures, and initiatives related to patient experience and satisfaction. Organize and conduct orientation sessions for patients and families to familiarize them with Emergency Department processes and services. Develop and implement outreach programs to promote community awareness of emergency services and resources available at the hospital. Stay updated on best practices, regulations, and standards related to patient relations and customer service in healthcare settings.
