The Anesthetist will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, monitoring their vital signs, and ensuring their safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery. This position requires expertise in anesthesia techniques, excellent clinical judgment, and strong communication skills. Location: Kannur Qualification: DNB/MS . Experience: Minimum 3 year experience in Anesthesia. Key Responsibilities: Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations of patients to assess their medical history, current health status, and anesthesia risk factors. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop individualized anesthesia care plans for patients based on their specific needs and surgical requirements. Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patients’ vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, throughout the surgical procedure. Adjust anesthesia levels and medications as needed to maintain patient comfort and safety during surgery. Monitor patients during the post-anesthesia recovery period, assessing their response to anesthesia and managing any complications or adverse reactions. Provide post-operative pain management and supportive care to patients to promote a smooth recovery process. Document anesthesia administration, patient responses, and other relevant information accurately and comprehensively in medical records. Collaborate with the anesthesia team, including certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) and anesthesia technicians, to ensure efficient and effective anesthesia services. Stay updated on advances in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment, and participate in continuing education and professional development activities. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols related to anesthesia administration and patient care.
